This role will lead the commercial, transactional, and governance functions of the legal department. Requires an experienced legal leader to upskill and develop internal talent, hire strategically, manage outside counsel, and direct the implementation of upgraded processes and tooling to serve internal stakeholders and Flock’s external clients and partners.
As the Senior Counsel, Commercial, you will provide legal and business advice on Marqeta’s customer, bank and network partner, and vendor contracts, improving Marqeta’s contracting processes. You'll work closely with attorneys and outside counsel, building strong relationships across the Company and with leadership on legal matters relating to Marqeta’s customers, partners and vendors.
